Use of the UNITED SCHOOLS social network implies your acceptance of these GTU. If you do not fully accept them, your entry on this site will be considered unauthorized and you will have to stop using it immediately.

These General Terms of Use (“GTU”) govern the access and use by any visitor or user of our social network accessible at https://connect.unitedschools.world/ (the “social network”).

By registering and using the social network you agree to accept these GTU without restriction or reservation.

Who are we?

UNITED SCHOOLS is an association whose purpose is to promote and facilitate the living together and respect for the planet through concrete actions between schools of the world. It is an eco-citizen social network between schools, but also a free and secure platform for teachers and students aged from 5 to 16.

Use of the social network

Use of the social network requires a high-speed internet connection and if needed, available on cell phones. It is specified that these connections are not supported by UNITED SCHOOLS. It is therefore your responsibility to subscribe before a Broadband Internet and / or mobile Internet offer to be able to use the social network.

Who can use the social network?

All schools and classes are accepted except those which practice any displayed discrimination.

If you register a school or class in accordance with section 2.2 in order to use the webite, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so and that you have the authority to bind the associated school to the these T & Cs, in which case the words "you" and "your" as used in these T & Cs refer to that entity.

The social network is only accessible with a "user account" which requires prior registration.

To register you must:

  • create an account on the social network by clicking on UNITED SCHOOLS ;
  • fill in the different fields of the account creation form on the webite;
  • confirm your registration with your phone number;
  • communicate information about the school or the class you represent;
  • confirm your acceptance of these T & Cs.

When registering, you agree to provide true and sincere information about yourself. UNITED SCHOOLS may in particular terminate your registration if the information provided proves to be incorrect.

You also agree to inform us without delay of any modification of the information provided during your registration and in particular any change of address, email or contact of your establishment. You can modify this information from your account on the social network by clicking on the “My account” section.

Only the contact mentioned during registration (the teacher / facilitator) has a username and password allowing them to connect to the social network. You may not pass it on to your students or to third parties under any circumstances. You can nevertheless open one or more sessions to your students from time to time, it being specified that you are responsible for all activities taking place through your account, until it is desactivated. Accordingly, you release UNITED SCHOOLS from any liability in this regard, unless you demonstrate that the use of your login details and / or your account results from fraud attributable to a third party. You must notify us immediately of any loss or unauthorized use of your account, login details and password.

Your obligations

You are responsible for your use of the social network and any content you provide, including compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. You should only post content as long as you are comfortable sharing it with others.

If the content you communicate makes it possible in any way to identify a student or his work, you agree to obtain prior to a parental authorization from the student concerned (authorization to use photography and work by students completed within the framework of the UNITED SCHOOLS educational network), which is accessible at the following link [PARENTAL CONSENT] This authorization must not be returned to UNITED SCHOOLS but protects you in the event of any possible dispute of use on the social network.

Any use of any content or materials displayed through the social network or that you obtain by such means, is made at your own risk. What belongs to us is ours

Responsibility

Nullity of a clause
